The story unfolds with Dick Whittington and his trusty cat Tommy arriving in London to seek their fortune, but find the streets aren’t really paved with gold. After meeting a merchant’s daughter and taking a job for her father, life for Dick Wittington was looking promising. But the evil Queen Rat has other ideas! Find out whether good conquers evil or whether it is Queen Rat who succeeds in stopping the course of true love. Milton Keynes Theatre hosts many highly recommended West End shows.
Paraffinalia on 17 December at Campbell Park
This year’s show on Saturday 17th December promises to be spectacular with live performance, giant puppetry, pyrotechnics and specially created music. The festive fun commences at 6pm to 8pm. You will need your wellington boots, warm coat and a torch! There will be hot food on sale, open fires roast your marsh-mellows on, extraordinary light installations, a lantern parade and many interactive activities. You will be taken on a journey through a portal into ‘the other world’…where you will find the red knight on his winter throne.
For those with young children, Gulliver’s Land promises lots of Christmas fun from the 26 November through to the 23 December. They’ll transport you into a winter wonderland with a great selection of Christmas rides, shows and attractions throughout the theme park.
